This month's cover shows William Osler, founder of the Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland, taken circa 1910 by Elliott and Fry in London, four years after the Association was founded. The logo of the Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland is reproduced at the bottom of the picture. Elliott and Fry, who had studios in Baker Street, London, were highly successful photographers and were responsible for many of the iconic photographic portraits of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The photograph was reproduced by courtesy of the Wellcome Trust Library and the cover was designed by Wendy Richardson.
