New Editorial Board for QJM

Terms of Reference

I wish to recruit a new Editorial Board for QJM. Each member of the Board will be expected to:

  • Have a special area of interest (e.g. diabetology, neurology, etc.)
  • Act a source of advice to the Editor for that special interest area in terms of recommending topics for review articles or editorials
  • Provide the names and contact details of five new reviewers
  • Be prepared to review three to five papers per year
  • By agreement with the Editor to write new review articles and brief commentaries on papers accepted for publication (both review articles and commentaries will attract an honorarium)
  • Be willing to attend an Annual Editorial Board Meeting if appropriate
  • In addition, I would wish to appoint Editorial Board members to represent separate geographical regions

If you are interested in applying, please email me a very brief CV (no more than one page) summarizing your research interests, major publications and any previous editorial experience by 30 April 2008. My email address is mjbannon{at}doctors.org.uk. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Michael Bannon, Editor QJM
